[/caption]New York, United Nations (UN) has just appointed a leader to serve as the space agencies of the United Nations' Office for Outer Space Affairs (Unoosa). Astrophysicist Marzlan Othman, a Malaysian women aged 58 years, will be responsible for coordinating the response of the human if one day the aliens came to earth.
In one occasion, Othman said that humans need to be ready to face meetings with aliens. If aliens came to earth, at least there would have welcomed officials representing the United Nations.
"Research is ongoing about the communications space by some institutions to carry the hope that one day humans will receive signals from space," said Othman.
"When we do, we already have to have a coordinated response that takes into account everything that may be sensitive to the creatures that," Othman added. "The UN is the mechanism that has been prepared for such coordination," he said.
